MAIN CHARACTER

This collection of mini projects is dedicated to designs featuring inspirational and iconic figures (real & fictional) who have either influenced my creative identity or I simply admire.

EMMA CHAMBERLAIN STYLE EVOLUTION

A series of illustrated posters showcasing the evolution of Emma Chamberlain’s fashion aesthetic.

To me, Emma is one of the most influential personas in the creative space, with an undoubtedly iconic and unique style.

Each fashion era was thoroughly research and captured with hand-drawn illustrations of Emma in procreate.

Pigeons and coffee cups are amongst the key attributes of Emma’s online personality. Their design across the series is changing in alignment with Emma’s style.

In 2020 Emma was opting for minimal silhouettes and classic colour combinations. The illustration, thus, is featuring simple lines and clean shapes.

In 2022-23 Emma was elevating her wardrobe with vibrant pieces and unconventional vintage designs, so the second poster acquires more colour and joyfulness.

In 2024 Emma’s aesthetic became considerably darker with sharp silhouettes and leather pieces being her red carpet staples.

To pay the tribute to one of my favourite TV shows of all time, I created posters reflecting the main characters’ – Lorelai’s and Rory’s – personalities through typography, colours and objects.

Both posters also feature the show’s writer, Amy Sherman-Palladino, the years of screening and an iconic quote from each character.

GILMORE GIRLS

Lorelai’s tendency to be dramatic became an inspiration for the contrasting colour palette and sharp typography.

Food (junk food, in particular) and caffeine addiction play a huge part in the show, so a slice of pizza above a coffee cup is a visual metaphor reflecting Lorelai’s bad eating habits and spontaneous demeanour.

Rory is portrayed as a very smart and hard-working person. Hence, a combination of light brown and green, typical for academic environments, commemorates Rory’s eager drive for knowledge.

A spread from the book ‘Atomic Habits’ by James Clear with a quote ‘Walk Slowly, but Never Backward’ reminded me of Rory’s ambitious mindset. She also likes to read. A lot.

Rory is a sweet girl, and Pop Tarts are her daily breakfast option. Would’ve been a crime not to include one.

Commemorating the release of the second season of Wednesday on Netflix, I designed a series of graphic assets in the gloomy and sarcastic style of the show.

WEDNESDAY

The poster features the show’s tagline positioned over a pattern from Wednesday’s stained glass window in Nevermore and a silhouette of Wednesday’s sharp dress collars.

A poster-like calendar for the week of the season’s release with dark activities inspired by Wednesday’s infamous quotes and the show’s core moments.

A graphic concept for what could be a ticket for Wednesday’s cinema screening (if Netflix was not a thing).
